Austin's 12th month!!

Happy 1st birthday to my sweet little man!!  It's hard to believe we officially have a toddler now!   He is literally running around all over the place now, and everyone is surprised when they hear how old he is after seeing him so mobile.  He has been going through another growth spurt recently and continues to be very tall for his age.  At his 1 year checkup he was in the 83% for height and 76% for weight (his weight had a big jump from being around 50% at the 9 month checkup!).  Though fortunately he is so active it doesn't even look like he weighs that much.  I went back to work this month, so Austin started daycare for the first time.  It's been a bit of an adjustment, though he has really been a champ and has slowly been starting to enjoy himself there.  We had a big celebration for his birthday in Kansas City and Austin had a great time.  He did really well with wearing his traditional Korean outfit and even kept his hat on!  When he was placed in front of the table of various objects that represent what his future holds, Austin chose the stethoscope; I guess we'll have to wait and see if we have a little doctor on our hands in the future!  Austin seems like he almost understands everything when we talk to him and he continues to listen pretty well most of the time.  He has started to become interested in "helping" with whatever I'm doing and it's really cute to see him try to be helpful with chores.  Hopefully this interest lasts for a while!  What an amazing journey this past year has been, we are so blessed to have such an amazing son!

Austin's first baseball game

We went to a Nashville Sounds game over Labor Day weekend and Austin had a great time.  Since the Sounds are the triple A team for the Brewers Austin and I sported our Brewers apparel for the game.  Austin met the mascot, Ozzie, and then kept on eye on where he was the rest of the time.  It was really cute because Austin would point to him and say doggy!
